How to distinguish MYJG80W and MYJG100w CO2 laser power supply?

CO2 laser engraving machines are widely used in the worldwide. As well known, almost all equipment has parts that can wear out, and laser engraving machines are no exception. As a crucial component, the laser power supply sometimes needs replacement. Some customers purchase new power supplies to replace old ones or opt for higher-powered units to improve machine performance. Our CO2 laser engraving machines primarily use ZYE laser power supplies, ranging from MYJG-40W and 60W to MYJG-300W. Recently, customers have reported that our 80W laser power supply is priced similarly to other suppliers’ 100W units.

At work, when distinguishing the power of laser power supplies, we first check the label attached to the outside of the power supply, which displays the model and voltage. For example, the models for 80W and 100W are MYJG80W and MYJG-100W, respectively,please see the following photos:

 

However, it’s important to note that we cannot rely entirely on these labels to determine the actual power supply model. In a highly competitive market, some sellers may use misleading labels to attract buyers with lower prices—for instance, selling an 80W laser power supply as a 100W one.

So, how can we accurately distinguish between an 80W and a 100W power supply?

 

1. To distinguish MYJG80W and MYJG100w, the size of the power supplyis need to check,

2. To distinguish MYJG80W and MYJG100w, the quantity of internal circuits is need to check.

Both the MYJG-80W and MYJG-100W have two high-voltage packs, but the 80W model has one set of circuits, while the MYJG-100W has two sets. As a result, the MYJG-100W is more stable under heavy loads.

 

Therefore, when purchasing the ZYE MYJG series laser power supply, be sure to check carefully and not just focus on the lowest price.

 

Additionally, for power supplies of the same wattage, there are other factors that can affect the price. For example, the standard configuration is as shown, but if you require a digital or LCD display, the price will be different.
